Pioneering Sustainable Urban Mobility

The Riyadh Metro is a landmark achievement in Saudi Vision 2030, setting new standards for sustainable transportation.

Launch Highlights:

The first phase includes three operational lines (Blue, Yellow, and Purple):

• Blue Line: Extending from Olaya Street to Al Batʼha, this line serves as a crucial north-south transit corridor within the city.

• Yellow Line: Following King Khalid International Airport Road, it offers convenient access to Riyadh’s main airport, streamlining travel for residents and visitors alike.

• Purple Line: Traversing Abdul Rahman bin Awf Road and Al-Shaikh Hassan Bin Hussain Street, this route strengthens eastern Riyadh’s transportation links. Additional lines, including the Red and Green, are set to launch this December, with the Orange Line commencing in January 2025.
